My New Book – The Secret Holiday Kiss
I have a new Christmas book out on the 8th of October this year. It’s called The Secret Holiday Kiss, it’s the third instalment of the Secret Bookshop series, and I had a wonderful time writing it. I can’t wait for you to read it.
As with all my series books, it can be read as a standalone, so you don’t need to have read the others to enjoy this one, but it’s set in the village of Mistingham, and if you have read the others then you’ll get to catch up with some familiar faces (and maybe goats too).
Here is the blurb:
In a seaside village, where the winter sunset meets the sea, Daisy is coming home …
When her perfect life falls apart, Daisy returns to Mistingham, determined it's a temporary stop until she can find her feet again.
She hasn't counted on the community’s irresistible (aka infuriating) festive spirit. Or on Avery, building a grand house near the village green – his optimism and easy smile are proving equally hard to resist.
As Mistingham works its magic, Daisy wonders if her heart has known where home is all along.
Daisy is Harry Anderly’s younger sister, and I’ve had her story percolating in my mind for a while. It includes handsome builder Avery, a lot of twinkly Christmas shenanigans and, quite possibly, a mysterious gifted book.
My books wouldn’t be complete without a stunning cover, and here, in all its glory, is the absolutely GORGEOUS, please-can-I-go-there-immediately, aren’t-the-couple-perfect? cover for The Secret Holiday Kiss. It’s been designed by Jo Tyler and illustrated by Katie Smith. Isn’t it beautiful?
It’s out on the 8th of October, and you can preorder it from all the usual places. I would love to know what you think of the blurb and the cover. Do you always have to read series in order, or are you happy to dip in and out?
